Kelisiana Thynne
Kelisiana Thynne is currently Senior Legal Adviser in the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) working on the law of naval warfare in the ICRC’s Global Initiative on IHL team in Geneva. She has worked for ICRC for 15 years in legal roles in Geneva, Kabul, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Sydney.
Kelisiana has also worked for the Australian government in the Australian Civil-Military Centre and the Office of International Law of the Attorney-General’s Department.
Kelisiana has a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the Australian National University and a Graduate Certificate on the Law of the Sea from the University of Wollongong.
