Nowadays, only the recognitions of the National Societies and the Florence Nightingale Medal awardings are still subject of circulars.
In the past, a circular was produced for every event or during important information to communicate (notifications to the international conferences, death of a person, etc.).
The ICRC Library holds the exhaustive collection of the numbered circulars of the ICRC (from the first circular dated of 1863 until today) and the unnumbered circulars (from 1916 to 1985).
