Rasha Mahmoud Abdel Fattah
Rasha Mahmoud Abdel Fattah has worked with languages for over two decades. She has been teaching English language, literature and translation at a number of Egyptian Universities, including the American University in Cairo. She has also worked as a journalist and editor for years, with special interest in culture and humanities.
She holds an MA in literature, another in translation and is an ABD PhD candidate, at Ain Shams University in Cairo. Her research reconciles language, literature and media studies, examining the impact of narrative storytelling on creating emphatic effect among social media users.
She has been heading Arabic translation at the ICRC Regional Communication Center in Cairo since 2013.
