Anastasia Kushleyko
Anastasia Kushleyko is a Thematic Legal Adviser in the Legal Division of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva. Her work focuses on international humanitarian law, including the protection of missing persons, cultural property and journalists in armed conflict.
Prior to her current role, Anastasia held several positions within the ICRC since 2001, including in the Central Tracing Agency, the Advisory Service on International Humanitarian Law, and the Prevention Cell of the International Law and Policy Department, with a particular focus on Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Anastasia holds a Master of Advanced Studies in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, as well as a master’s degree in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
