Filipa Schmitz Guinote
Filipa Schmitz Guinote is a Policy Adviser at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva. She joined the ICRC in 2016 after a decade working for the protection of and assistance to people affected by conflict in advocacy, training and advisory roles with UNDP, GIZ and civil society coalitions, both at field level and in global diplomatic settings.
She was trained in political science at Sciences Po, Paris, and holds a master’s degree in human rights from the European Inter-University Center for Human Rights and Democratization.
