การบรรเทาความทุกข์ทรมานในภาวะสงคราม: ความสอดคล้องกันระหว่างพุทธศาสนากับกฎหมายมนุษยธรรมระหว่างประเทศ 23/06/2022 หลักธรรมคำสอนของศาสนาพุทธมุ่งส่งเสริมให้ผู้คนมีความเห็นอกเห็นใจกันและไม่ใช้ความรุนแรงเป็นสำคัญ ดังนั้น ประเด็นเรื่องการที่พุทธศาสนาจะมีส่วนช่วยกำกับดูแลกรณีเกิดสงครามได้อย่างไรบ้างจึงไม่ค่อยได้รับการพิจารณาถึงมากนัก แต่การที่พุทธศาสนามุ่งบรรเทาความทุกข์ทรมานของผู้คนก็ถือว่ามีความสำคัญจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งต่อห้วงยามที่เกิดการสู้รบ และพุทธศาสนาเองยังมีหลักธรรมคำสอนและทรัพยากรอีกมากมาย โดยเฉพาะเรื่องของความตื่นรู้ในทิศทางของเทคโนโลยี ที่จะเป็นแนวทางให้แก่พลรบและช่วยบรรเทาความทุกข์ที่เกิดขึ้นจากผลของการกระทำของพลรบได้ด้วย แม้นในสงครามจักพิชิตนักรบนับพันคนและนับพันหน แต่การพิชิตอันยิ่งใหญ่มีเพียงหนึ่งเดียวคือ การพิชิตใจตน พระธรรมบท ข้อ 103 (แปลโดย ปีเตอร์ ฮาร์วีย์) คณะกรรมการกาชาดระหว่างประเทศ (ICRC) ริเริ่มบุกเบิกจัดทำโครงการวิจัยในหัวข้อดังกล่าวข้างต้น และผลของงานวิจัยในครั้งนี้ได้ก่อกำเนิดเป็นบทความวิชาการที่เปี่ยมด้วยเนื้อหาข้อมูลเชิงลึก เรื่อง “การบรรเทาความทุกข์ทรมานในภาวะสงคราม: ความสอดคล้องกันระหว่างพุทธศาสนากับกฎหมายมนุษยธรรมระหว่างประเทศ” ...
