Zuleyka Piniella is the Global Coordinator of ICRC’s Prevention of Sexual Violence Programme. Zuleyka joined ICRC’s Addressing Sexual Violence team in 2019, as Regional Sexual Violence Adviser in Asia & the Pacific first, and the Americas later.

Prior to joining the ICRC, she was GBV Protection Coordinator for the UN, based in the Middle East.

Zuleyka is a Researcher specialised in Applied Social Research and Programme evaluation, holds a Bachelor in Social Pedagogy and a post-graduate in Protection in Humanitarian Action. She has worked on Gender-based Violence and Protection since 2007.
