Robin Lovell
Robin Lovell is an Assistant Professor at Manhattan College. They teach a variety of topics, including research methods, gender and nature, and human geography courses, in addition to geographic information systems (GIS). Dr. Lovell is a feminist geographer studying sustainable food systems in the Hudson Valley and Southeast Asia. They have done a variety of research projects, from remote sensing of water-saving practices in Vietnam, to how organic agriculture in the U.S. impacts farmers’ well-being. Dr. Lovell uses qualitative and quantitative methods in an interdisciplinary studies of socio-ecological systems.
