Raphael Gorgeu
Raphael Gorgeu is a senior aid policy expert currently serving as Deputy Director of Operations and Head of the Operational Analysis, Positioning and Advocacy Unit at Médecins Sans Frontières in Geneva.
Raphael’s first assignments in the field were with Handicap International, and at headquarters with Médecins du Monde as Emergency Desk Manager. Thereafter, during several years, Raphael worked with Médecins sans Frontières in South Sudan, Haiti and Yemen as Country Director and Representative.
More recently, Raphael worked with ICVA (International Council of Voluntary Agencies) as Director of Programme and Policy, prior to joining MSF Geneva headquarters in his current position.
Raphael holds Master’s degrees in Management, Humanitarian Aid and International Relations.
