Nicholas Hawton
Nicholas Hawton is the ICRC’s Diplomatic Adviser for the Near and Middle East. Prior to joining the ICRC, he worked as a Senior Political and Communications adviser for the EU in Libya and in the Balkans. He also worked as a Foreign Correspondent for the BBC and as a writer for The Times newspaper.
Nick has a BA Honours degree in Modern History from Oxford University, a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT.
