Megan O’Brien
Megan O’Brien is the acting Advisor for Digital Innovation and Case Management Data Specialist within the Violence Prevention and Response Unit at the International Rescue Committee. While working at the IRC, she has guided digital technologies used across programs in the Child Protection, Women’s Protection and Empowerment, and Protection and Rule of Law sectors. She has overseen IRC’s implementation of digital case management and information management systems for child protection and GBV that are now active in 19 countries and 5 continents. Throughout her work, she advocates for responsible data practices and equitable access to digital technologies in humanitarian contexts.
