Margherita D’Ascanio
As Law & Policy Adviser, Margherita D’Ascanio is coordinated the ICRC’s Research & Debate Cycle on Generating Respect for the Law. She also was a teaching assistant at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Prior to joining the ICRC in 2014, she worked for several NGOs and law firms, as well as at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. She holds a LL.M from the Geneva Academy and is a Ph.D candidate at the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva.
