Malvika Verma

Malvika Verma is a development and humanitarian professional, with experience in programming and policy research. Currently, she is working with ACTED in Sri Lanka as a Project Development Officer, where she is engaged in efforts to address the effects of climate change. Prior to this, she worked as an Associate in the Protection of Civilian Populations Unit at the ICRC. She has also worked with communities affected by violence in Turkey and India, and interned with UNHCR, UNDP and several human rights organizations in Geneva.
Malvika graduated from from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, with a specialization in humanitarian action, conflict and power relations. She also holds a specialized diploma in conflict transformation and peace building, along with a BA Honours in Philosophy from the University of Delhi.
