Laurent Saugy
Laurent Saugy has been the Protection Coordinator for the ICRC Delegation in Jordan since 2017.
He joined the ICRC in 1994. His 24 years of humanitarian work have been spent mostly in the field of protection of persons affected by situations of conflict and other situation of violence. After his first mission in the Balkans, he worked in Africa (Rwanda, Angola, Libya), Asia (India, Myanmar, Pakistan) and in the Middle-East (Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan). He has also been Deputy Head of the ICRC Central Tracing Agency and Protection Division at ICRC Headquarters.
