Geeta Mahapatra
Geeta Mahapatra is a graduate of the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, specialising in humanitarian law, child protection and post-conflict justice. She has worked with the ICRC and with the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations, engaging with UN human rights mechanisms and accountability processes, as well as in refugee resettlement and specialist support services. She was selected to represent the Geneva Academy at the 2025 Jean Pictet Competition and is a member of the International Bar Association and the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales.
