Eero Rämö
Eero Rämö is Secretary General of the Finnish Red Cross. He also serves as Chair of the Red Cross EU Office.
Before his current role, he held several governance positions within the Finnish Red Cross, including Vice President of the Board and Chair of Council. He has also worked as a Legal Advisor and IHL training delegate. Prior to his current position, he worked in consulting and held roles in civil society, including as Chair of the Advisory Board on Civil Society Policy at the Finnish Ministry of Justice.
His work includes engagement with international humanitarian law and related policy frameworks.
Eero Rämö holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Master’s degree in Social Ethics (Th.M.) from the University of Helsinki.
