Dr Dan Xie is the Distinguished Professor of Law at the Military Law Institute of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing. He is also the Visiting Professor at Eastern China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) in Shanghai and Political Academy of National Defense University in Xi’an, as well as the Director of Beijing Rong-He Law Firm. Prior to joining the CUPL in 2012, Xie served as a Senior Colonel and judge in the Military Court of Chinese People’s Liberation Army (Supreme Court in Chinese military).
