Claudia Maritano
Claudia Maritano is a Legal Adviser at the Legal Division of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva where she works, among other files, on customary international humanitarian law, including the management of the ICRC Customary IHL database. Prior to joining the ICRC in this role, she worked on the joint British Red Cross/ICRC Customary International Humanitarian Law project based at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law (University of Cambridge) and was a Research Associate at Wolfson College (University of Cambridge).
She holds and LL.M. from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and a law degree from the University of Torino, Italy.
