Katharine Fortin
Katharine Fortin is an Associate Professor at the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights, Utrecht University. She has written widely on issues related to armed groups and international law, sources of law and the relationship between international humanitarian law and international human rights law. She is the founding editor of the Armed Groups and International Law blog and the Editor in Chief of the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights. She is one of the co-leads of the Beyond Compliance Consortium, that is made up of three universities and six NGOs and one of the co-hosts of the Beyond Compliance: In Conversation podcast.
