Supriya Rao
Supriya Rao is Legal Adviser at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Currently she is with the ICRC’s Global Initiative leading the workstream dedicated to the protection of hospitals. Since joining the ICRC she has held various roles as an operational legal coordinator in Myanmar and Iraq, and as a legal adviser with the ICRC Regional Delegation in New Delhi.
Supriya Rao completed her undergraduate studies from the University of California at Berkely and holds graduate degree in law from the George Washington University Law School and an LLM from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
