Micaela Serafini
Dr. Micaela Serafini has been leading the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Health Unit since early 2021. She is responsible for overseeing the delivery of humanitarian health services to populations affected by war and violence in more than 80 countries around the world. Prior to that, she worked for Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) as Medical Director until the end of her mandate in 2020.
Dr. Micaela Serafini is a humanitarian and global health expert who has been leading the health agenda within two of the most prestigious organizations working in the humanitarian sector, she has been influencing international health policies, addressing social determinates of health and tailoring health actions to the different humanitarian settings.
