John Lobor
John Lobor is the Secretary General of the South Sudan Red Cross Society. In this role, he has spearheaded the efforts of the Society to build the capacities of volunteers and vulnerable communities, and led the development of new projects and programmes as prioritized in the Society’s strategic plan.
John has been a part of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement since 1988, when he joined the Sudanese Red Crescent Society as a relief volunteer following the flooding in Khartoum. He holds an MSc in Development Planning from the University of Khartoum.
