Dear scholars, academicians and researchers,
Thank you for submitting your abstracts to our Call for Papers on Southeast Asian Contributions to the Development of the Rules of Warfare in Islam which was closed on 15 July 2021. We are delighted to have received such important and varied contributions and would like to thank those who have submitted their abstracts before the deadline.
However, considering the current situation with COVID-19 which is severely affecting the whole Southeast Asia region and has been distracting our thoughts and lives, we, the co-organisers of this programme, are delighted to announce the extension of the deadline for submission of abstracts until 6 August 2021. This decision was taken by the co-organisers to give more opportunity for those who are still interested in participating to explore an important humanitarian issue and have the chance to publish their papers in the highly respected Indexed Scopus Q1 Journal Al-Jamiah.
We would like to thank and highly appreciate those who have submitted their abstracts before the first deadline of 15 July 2021 and consider it as an added value in the selection process. However, we would also like to offer the opportunity to revise or fine tune your previous abstracts if deemed necessary and submit it again before our new deadline on 6 August 2021 to this existing link.
For further information on our revised important dates, please refer to this Concept Paper: UPDATED Concept Note. Should you have any questions and inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact the following emails: nkaharudin@icrc.org (Jakarta/Kuala Lumpur), saptoni@uinsuka.ac.id (Yogyakarta), aislam@icrc.org (Manila)
