The Press Institute of India (PII), Chennai and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), New Delhi invite entries for the PII – ICRC Awards 2020. The theme for the 14th edition of the annual awards is ‘Superheroes: Battling at the Frontlines in the Time of Crisis’.
Entries are invited under two categories:
* Article
* Photograph
The top three entries in each category would receive ₹100,000, ₹70,000 and ₹40,000 respectively.
Terms and conditions:
1. Email your entries to editorpiirind@gmail.com or send them to the Press Institute of India, RIND Premises, Second Main Road, Taramani CPT Campus, Chennai – 600113 by 31 August 2020.
2. The article/photo should have been published in a national or regional newspaper, magazine or online site of repute in India between 1 April 2019 and 30 June 2020.
3. An exact English translation is mandatory for all articles printed in regional languages.
4. Only one entry per individual is permitted in either category.
5. Participants will have to submit proof of their entries in the respective newspaper or magazine.
6. Family members/relatives of the jury and organisers are not eligible for participation.
7. The decision of the jury will be final.
Results will be announced in November 2020.
