Wim Zwijnenburg
Wim Zwijnenburg is project leader Humanitarian Disarmament at PAX and long-time contributor to the Bellingcat open-source investigation collective. He specializes on the use and proliferation of military drones and coordinates the European Forum on Armed Drones. His other work focus is on the environmental dimension of armed conflict. Wim has conducted field work in Iraq, Syria and Ukraine and published reports on the impacts of the conflicts on public health and the environment and has contribute to advocacy work around these topics in the UN Security Council and UN Environment Assembly. He receive the UN Environment/UNOCHA Green Star Award in 2017 for PAX’s work in environmental emergencies. Wim holds a Master in Social Sciences from the Radboud University in Nijmegen.
