Sandra Smiley
Sandra Smiley is a public health professional and humanitarian aid worker. She holds degrees from McGill University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Sandra’s interests lie at the intersections of global health governance, humanitarian action and human rights. Since 2008, she has worked in numerous humanitarian contexts, including Pakistan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sierra Leone and Guinea during the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak. She is currently working on the response to Canada’s opioid overdose crisis.
