Juliane Garcia Ravel
Juliane Garcia Ravel is a Law & Policy Adviser at the ICRC. She is in charge of coordinating the organization of public events to debate around current humanitarian law and policy issues in a view to generate further respect for IHL. As a lawyer in International Law, she has been working for the ICRC since 2010 in various positions, both at headquarters and in the field (Colombia). She has also worked as a trainer in IHL and Human Rights Law in France.
Juliane holds a Master degree in Public International Law from the University of Grenoble (France) and an LL.M in International Humanitarian Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (Switzerland).
