Ewan Lawson
Ewan Lawson is a former British military officer with experience in military planning, information operations and military cyber operations. He served for twenty-seven years before joining the Royal United Services Institute in London as a Senior Research Fellow in the Military Sciences team. He researched, wrote and spoke at events on peacekeeping, hybrid warfare, information warfare, the military use of cyberspace and cyber in national security strategy.
Ewan is currently researching the protection of civilian’s implications from hybrid warfare in Ukraine. He has masters degrees from Kings College London and the Open University, and is currently researching towards a PhD on the development of international regimes to deal with sexual violence in conflict.
