Elem Khairullin
Elem Khairullin is an ICRC Legal Adviser working on the legal status of the ICRC, its privileges and immunities, and its confidentiality.
Prior to joining the ICRC in 2016, Elem had trained with a law firm in Geneva and with an international NGO active in the field of humanitarian coordination. During his studies, he also completed an academic traineeship with the ICRC, developing cases for the the ‘How Does Law Protect in War’ online casebook.
Elem holds an LL.M. from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, as well as a Master in International and European Law and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Geneva.
