Damian Copeland
Damian Copeland is a military legal advisor and part-time Senior Research Fellow with the TC Beirne School of Law, The University of Queensland in the Law and Future of War project. His research interest is in the Article 36 legal review of weapons, specifically weapons and systems enhanced by Artificial Intelligence. He has over thirty years of military service, including multiple operational deployments and extensive experience in the application of operational law in support of Australian Defence Force operations.
