Chris Loughran
Chris is Policy & Influence Director at Mines Advisory Group (MAG), an international humanitarian NGO working in over 25 countries affected by violence and conflict.
Chris leads MAG’s global advocacy strategy as well as the organisation’s policy and influence agenda, and is a member of the executive leadership team. He was previously MAG’s Country Director in Iraq. Chris also sits on the Board of Trustees for Platfform, a leading Welsh mental health and social change charity.
Before joining MAG, Chris spent four years in the UK Ministry of Defence in Whitehall. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and a Masters in Violence, Conflict and Development studies from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
