Amir Khouzam
Amir Khouzam is a Policy Advisor at the ICRC. He has experience at the intersection of humanitarian action, peacebuilding and diplomacy in Lebanon and Turkey with the grassroots Center for Civil Society and Democracy in Syria, as well as in UNHCR’s protection division in Cairo, Egypt. Previously he worked as a coordinator of arts-based children’s programming at Canada’s largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in Toronto, Canada. He holds a Master’s degree in human rights and humanitarian policy from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Toronto.
