Maya Brehm

Maya Brehm is a legal adviser at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Her present work focuses on the humanitarian concerns raised by landmines, cluster munitions and other conventional weapons. Maya has expertise in international humanitarian and human rights law, including the regulation of the international arms trade, autonomous weapons, explosive weapons, nuclear disarmament, and the weaponization of developments in science & technology. She has extensive experience in disarmament policy making, multilateral diplomacy, advocacy and campaigning, as well as humanitarian field work and university level teaching. Maya holds an MA in international relations and an LLM in international humanitarian law.
