Antonio De Simone
Dr. Antonio De Simone is a member of the Principal Professional Staff at Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory. In that role, he guides strategy and execution of programs to improve international and domestic crisis response.
Dr. De Simone started his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he did work in network and computer security, performance analysis, and network design. He managed the advanced Internet services research and development group at the Labs and went on to lead product groups in high-definition television and advanced networking. Dr. De Simone holds ten patents and has authored numerous technical publications. He holds Ph.D. and Sc.M. degrees from Brown University and a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, all in Physics.
