Fabrizzio Carboni serves as the chief representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the United States and Canada. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Carboni was the Regional Director for the ICRC’s Middle East Operations. With over two decades of field and headquarters experience at the ICRC, he has led operations for some of the Red Cross’s most challenging contexts in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Lebanon, and Africa. Throughout his career, he has specialized in conduct-of-hostilities negotiations, conflict-detainee humanitarian assessments, and frontline family reunifications.
