The conflict has completely changed the daily lives of people in the Donbas. Many have lost their income and must rely on humanitarian assistance. During summer or spring, people can cope but the situation worsens when the winter comes. Heating of houses is becoming more expensive and it can be problematic to even purchase coal or firewood in some areas. This is what we did to help our beneficiaries in eastern Ukraine throughout the past winter season.
