Steve Dorsey leads the ICRC’s media relations and communications programs in the U.S. and Canada. He joined the ICRC in 2024 after a more than 15-year career as a journalist. Most recently, Mr. Dorsey was a Senior Producer at the BBC in Washington. Prior to that, he was an Executive Editor and Correspondent at CBS News, where he oversaw the network’s radio coverage of the White House, Pentagon, State Department, Congress, and a network of foreign reporters. His career has also included reporting work for Fox News, NPR, CBC, CNN, and Bloomberg in Istanbul, Russia, and Australia.
