Before assuming his current role, Mr. Rodeman was Chief of Staff to a senior civilian official in the Pentagon. He served as a U.S. Navy officer for 30 years in various roles such as the Commanding Officer of U.S. Naval Air Facility in Misawa, Japan, Special Assistant to the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Honolulu, and Special Assistant to the Commander of the Allied Forces Southern Europe (NATO) in Naples, Italy. Mr. Rodeman retired in 2018 with the rank of Captain. He holds a master’s degree in Far East and Pacific Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the U. S. Naval War College.
