Alejandra has been with the ICRC since 2018. She covers Asia and the MENA region for the ICRC. Before this role, Alejandra worked at Crisis Action on efforts for the protection of civilians in Syria, Yemen, and South Sudan. Prior to locating to Washington, she taught English in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She also spent time in Kigali, Rwanda where she developed and led vocational trainings for vulnerable communities. Alejandra received her MSc in International Development from the University of Amsterdam.
