Clare Taylor helps foster and strengthen ICRC partnerships with the U.S. government, including the State Department. Since joining the ICRC in 2008, Ms. Taylor has held diverse roles spanning information management, support to armed forces engagement, and the protection and legal departments. Before her tenure at the ICRC, Ms. Taylor taught English as a second language at a high school in Brittany, France. Originally from Texas, Ms. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and French from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She is fluent in French.
