As a financial institutions partnership specialist, Estefania supports and strengthens the ICRC’s current and prospective engagement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Previously, she worked as an international consultant on digital transformation, social inclusion, legal identity, and migration, collaborating with organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS), UNHCR, and the World Bank across Latin America and the Caribbean. Estefania has also served as a Digital Governance and Identification consultant for the IDB and as a senior advisor to Ecuador’s National Identification Bureau. She holds a master’s in International Relations from Simón Bolívar University, and a professional certification in Design Thinking from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
