Explosive hazard awareness: During conflicts and immediately post-conflict, the ICRC provides information to civilians about known and suspected dangerous areas, teaching them how to best keep themselves and their loved ones safe. Raising awareness of these areas and promoting low-risk behavior – both in the short-term and for as long as the problem persists – is one of the ICRC’s main tasks in Ukraine.
