The fifth edition of Humanitarian Tiffin Talk organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in New Delhi on 9 May had stakeholders deliberating on ‘Public Health Delivery – In a post-disaster scenario’.
The panel discussion was chaired by Dr. P Ravindran, Director, Emergency Medical Relief, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The three speakers were Prof Vinod Chandra Menon, founder member, NDMA; Dr. Anshu Sharma, co-founder of Sustainable Environment and Energy Development Society India, SEEDS Asia and director, Saferworld Communications; and Mohuya Chaudhuri, research associate, JNU and senior health correspondent.
