Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) edged past National Law College to continue its impressive winning streak at the 15th edition of the Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition (HDMC) in Nepal. KSL has participated and won the competition every year till now.

This year, only three institutions — Kathmandu School of Law, National Law College and Nepal Law Campus — could participate at the national rounds of the HDMC in Kathmandu held on 1 October 2019.

The team from Kathmandu School of Law also bagged the award for best memorial while the individual honours for best advocate and best researcher went to Isha Bhusal of National Law College and Ratna Keshari Maharjan of Nepal Law Campus, respectively. Andre Paquet, head of the ICRC in Kathmandu, handed over the certificates and medallions to the winners and acknowledged the efforts of the participants.

The winners and runners-up teams from Kathmandu School of Law and National Law College will now participate at the South Asia rounds of the competition scheduled to take place on 27 – 29 November 2019 in Nepal.
