The humanitarian landscape has been constantly evolving with new challenges emerging in the 21st century — many of them pertaining to Asia. In this interview Francesco Rocca, President of the Italian Red Cross and Vice President, International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent Societies shares his concerns and hopes for the future of humanitarian action and reaffirms the significance of new technology, experience sharing as well as networking in order to ensure a better response to emergencies.
