The recently-held Humanitarian Tiffin Talk touched upon challenges pertaining to humanitarian action in Sri Lanka while also analyzing the trends that have dominated the humanitarian space in the island nation in the last few years.

Three eminent speakers — senior journalist MR Narayan Swamy, Australia India Institute deputy director Mallika Joseph and former Head of ICRC Sri Lanka Delegation Chérine Pollini — underlined the trends and challenges vis a vis Sri Lanka and Humanitarian Action. A diverse group of people comprising health experts, academics, representatives from civil society organisations as well as the media participated in the discussions on 23 September 2015 to engage and share experiences on the subject.
