For the international community, 19th August — World Humanitarian Day — is the day to celebrate and honour each and every aid worker whose commitment to the humanitarian cause keeps the movement strong despite the growing risks and challenges.

To mark the day this year, the ICRC New Delhi Blog shares the stories of those who — through their small acts of kindness behind the scenes — have made a big contribution towards saving lives, many hundreds of lives.

The Indian Red Cross Society and the ICRC New Delhi delegation present RED DROPS, a film celebrating the spirit of blood donation. We hope that the stories of the centurion blood donors would serve as an inspiration for you to contribute in the same way.
