The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has touched millions of lives in as many ways. Almost everyone has a Red Cross story. This World Red Cross Red Crescent Day, we invited people from All over the world to share their Red Cross story with us.

Air Commodore (Retd) J.L. Bhargava was taken a prisoner of war (POW) during the India-Pakistan 1971 War. On the eve of World Red Cross Red Crescent Day (8 May), he shares his Red Cross story in an audiovisual interview with the ICRC.

You can share your story with us by mailing it to icrcnewdelhi@gmail.com or posting it on the comments section of this blog. Also, watch this space for more such heartwarming accounts of how the Red Cross has touched people’s lives the world over.
