At the ICRC, our procurement activities aim to achieve the best value for money while prioritizing cost, lead time, quality, social and environmental impacts within our contexts. We are committed to ethical and honest business relationships with our suppliers, and respectful of human rights and the environment.

Our procurement teams follow the rules and guidelines explained in the ICRC Code of Ethics for procurement. This ensures that our procurement activities are carried out with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. We are committed to delivering the best value for money while upholding our core values and meeting the needs of those we serve.

SUPPLIER REQUIREMENTS

To become an ICRC supplier, you must meet certain requirements and adhere to our procurement policies. We expect our suppliers to:

  • Commit to the ICRC Supplier Code of Conduct which is embedded in our contracts.
  • Accept the General terms and conditions.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (goods)

The ICRC Supplier Code of Conduct is also available in French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.

As the ICRC operates in multiple sites, our procurement functions follow a hybrid structure that combines centralized and local practices. This allows our teams to seamlessly shift from project to project, involving different functions and geographic areas, all working together to achieve our shared goals.

HOW TO BECOME A SUPPLIER?

In ICRC, we run two kinds of competitive biddings:

  • Public request for information or tender:

The ICRC can request publicly to call for a tender or to provide information on existing enterprises, goods, or services. All Requests for information or tenders are published on this website.

  • Restricted quotations/tenders

In cases of restricted quotations/tenders, suppliers are invited by procurement teams to call for a quote or a tender.
