Ghadeer Zahwa is a student from the Golan, and studies in Damascus University to be a dentist. With the help of the ICRC, Ghadeeer could cross to Syria to continue her education.

“There is fear, of course, we can’t deny it. I know it is frightening over there. But if I let fear win, then I couldn’t continue my education” she says.

The ICRC facilitates access for around 55 students from the Golan Heights this year, who decided to study in Syrian universities.
